Baptism

My sweet angel was baptized a few weeks ago. It was long overdue but better late than never right? No matter which child of mine it was, there is just a strong feeling of faith on those days. You feel enlightened, overjoyed, and at peace; it is an amazing thing to feel as a parent knowing that God has wrapped your child tightly in his arms. Caroline was beaming that day, all white, ruffly socks, her rosette headband, and that precious little bracelet! Angelic, no other words would be more fitting.

Isaac refused to be apart of the family photo! The weather was great that day.

God parents Auntie Kathy and Uncle Max standing with us!

Father Cullen pouring Holy Water on Caroline's head in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit!

Brother Samuel helping to dry sissy's head off, and so proud to do so! (I'm not sure what happened to my face in this picture?? LOL...oh well.)

Annointing with oil.

Uncle Max lighting her Baptismal candle.

Pictures with Father Cullen

Caroline wasn't looking for either of these pictures but I love them anyway; might have been the big hands or the tall all in white man, but she was captivated by him.

We love you Caroline Marie!
